IFConneX Standard Transport

In order to use IFConneX, certain objects created and maintained by Innoface AG must be imported into the customer's SAP^®system. The objects include function groups, function modules, business functions, tables and table contents, customizing, and ICF services. The objects are grouped into packages that are imported into the SAP® system using a transport.

All objects contained in the transport are in the /IFCNX INNOFACE namespace, so no SAP® standard objects are changed.

Objects can be deleted by a transport. This can be the case if a new transport is imported and objects from the previous transport are no longer required.

You will receive the appropriate transport for your SAP Basis version from the INNOFACE project department.

Each object is assigned to exactly one of the packages listed below. These packages are used to organize the objects.

Function module

All functionalities called up by IFConneX are encapsulated in function blocks, which in turn are divided into function groups. A list of the function groups and function modules contained in the packages can be found at:

The function modules are not necessarily visible when they are transported into the SAP® system, as they are divided into function groups.

The standard transport also contains various table entries, see Table contents.

Business function

A business function is available in the packages. This is only relevant for the INNOFACE product CoreFace. It controls a switch that either activates or deactivates all extension implementations in the /IFCNX/CTRL package.

Customizing

Customizing is available in the packages. This is for the use of the INNOFACE extension SIS and has no effect on the SAP standard processes of the customer systems.
