Number generators
The Number generator can be used to generate numbers for different work processes that were previously (2.2.0-en_US) Number generator defined in the administration area.
However, the number generator only appears in the main menu if this is usable. This means that the number generator has been configured accordingly and the user has the application authorization. This procedure is comparable with the use of the file storage.
The Number-Generator Overview page shows different states of the created number generators, e.g.:
- NG COMPLEX: This number generator has already expired. Meaning, that no more numbers can be generated. This is indicated by the red warning icon and the deactivated +icons.
- NG SIMPLE: This number generator is active.
- NG WARN: Number generator at warning level. The yellow warning icon indicates to the user that this number generator will soon expire, and that the maximum number of generatable numbers will soon be reached.

Both individual numbers and entire number blocks can be generated with a number generator. A click on the + icon, will take you to the corresponding bottom/back of page.
Generate a single number
On the page where you can generate numbers, the name of the selected number generator will display at the top. A new number can be generated via the Generate number button. You must specify a reason, depending on the configuration of the generator.

If the number has been generated successfully, a "Success! message, number generated successfully" displays.
You can copy the number to the clipboard using the Copy to clipboard button.

Generate WARN numbers
On the page where you can generate WARN numbers, the name of the selected number generator will display at the top. A new number can be generated via the Generate number button. You must specify a reason, depending on the configuration of the generator.

If the number has been generated successfully, a "Success! message, number generated successfully" displays. Also the information "Warning! Maximum amount of numbers nearly reached. Numbers left: xx."
You can copy the number to the clipboard using the Copy to clipboard button.

Generate multiple numbers
You must first specify the desired block size on the page for generating multiple numbers.

The generated numbers do not display; they must be sent as an email. To do this, enter a valid e-mail address and click Send.
