Scheduler and Logging

Scheduler and Logging can be turned on and off with switch buttons.

With the Scheduler disabled, jobs are no longer distributed to the active daemons. Use this setting to make physical changes to the system that would affect communication with the daemons. You can stop the job distribution and wait until all jobs have finished processing to prevent jobs from failing. Make the changes to the daemons or the ReleaseEngine cockpit and then switch on the Scheduler again. If only one daemon is affected by the changes, you can also use the Lifecycles to stop the daemon.

With Logging enabled, all messages from the daemons on the system are logged in detail.
